Challenge: Broad & Cassel LLC, one of the largest full-service law firms in the state of Florida, approached Sound Stage™ with the issue that they wanted to upgrade their communication capabilities for today’s high-tech world. Their current facilities could not perform in the way that they required. They were requesting an advanced hub for all eight of their Florida based locations - a completely integrated facility with multimedia presentation and video conference capabilities that could help them communicate better within their organization as well as impress clients. In addition, all systems were required to be accessible to any user, no matter how limited their technical abilities might be. The challenge became for Sound Stage™ to design and integrate a complete multimedia solution that would enable Broad & Cassel to perform more effectively in today’s business world.

Solution: The solution that Sound Stage™ designed called for a single multimedia presentation center that could be broken into separate yet fully functional rooms. Each room was equipped with a touch screen interface, programmed with presets, so even the most inexperienced user could control multiple functions of the facility with a single button.

Sound Stage™ worked closely with Broad & Cassel’s IT department so that they would have the capabilities to route any source, such as a presentation or a video conference session, to anywhere in or outside their network. In addition, a truly remarkable video wall, comprised of 18 plasma monitors, was installed in the main lobby to provide a “wow factor” for visiting guests and clients. Hanging plasma monitors were also included in the main hallway to display anything from a cable news station to digital signage. And finally, to further increase their collaboration capabilities Sound Stage™ outfitted a 50” plasma display with white-boarding technology into a custom designed rolling cabinet for portable planning sessions.

Result: Broad & Cassel unveiled their new facility with a grand opening party hosted on the premises. It was important that the facility had full bandwidth audio specifically for situations such as this. Not only could music be played and routed anywhere, but the facility could switch to a microphone feed to accommodate presenters as well. Sound Stage™ had addressed everything Broad & Cassel required, in fact, exceeding expectations. Video conferencing has given them a hub that all eight offices could work through, and they are turning the heads of everyone who visits their firm. Thanks to Sound Stage™, Broad & Cassel is now prepared with all of the advanced tools to do business in today’s fast paced, technology prevalent world.
