Challenge: Ideas To Go, a Minnesota based Market Research Company, approached Sound Stage™ with some very unique requirements for their Orlando, Florida facility. It was their business to conduct think tank sessions, and monitor and record consumers while they evaluated products and services offered by their respective clients. In order to accomplish these tasks more effectively, Ideas To Go requested a pair of twin facilities, each comprised of one collaboration room and one observation room. They needed to be able to capture all thoughts and ideas expressed during these sessions for review in the future, and they needed to have complete control of all the information traveling between the rooms. In addition, they wanted to increase their multimedia presentation capabilities overall with the latest advanced communications technology.

Solution: As Sound Stage™ does for each and every client, the solution for Ideas To Go was custom designed to their exact specifications. They designed and integrated twin collaboration and observation facilities complete with automated multimedia presentation systems controlled via touch screen. The touch screen interface is so intuitive even the most inexperienced user can have complete control of the rooms with the touch of just a few buttons.
Video cameras were strategically placed in the collaboration rooms, and viewing monitors were installed in the observation rooms. All the cameras are remotely controlled, and video and audio can be routed to anywhere it may be needed. Sound Stage™ also included a variety of recording options into the system, everything from a DVD recorder to a cassette tape recorder, giving the client plenty of methods for documentation. And finally, Sound Stage™ provided a lockout security feature to prevent information from leaking between rooms, giving Ideas To Go complete control.
